Changes @ VirtuArte.com

""

VirtuArte.com was always envisioned to be a website that promoted artists/artisans from the developing world and created an awareness of their work. While my "envisioned" website was being developed I decided to start this Blog in order to introduce you to: VirtuArte; some of the artists/artisans I hoped to promote on my website; and some of the people and organizations I have met who are working with artists/artisans from the developing world to bring their art work to international markets.

I also wanted to use this Blog to talk about some of the issues affecting these individuals and their families, particularly those that impact the quality of their lives. For the last nine months this is exactly what I have done, not as regularly as I would have liked to.

Today I am happy to tell you my "envisioned" VirtuArte website is now "live." The next time you click on or type in www.virtuarte.com you will land on the Home page of VirtuArte instead of this Blog. From the Home page you will be able to go to: the Gallery and browse the various Collections, the Artist landing page and begin reading about the Artists being promoted by VirtuArte, or this Blog and read my latest post. However, this is only the beginning. Over the next few months new artists and products will be added, as well as, a number of features and other pages. I hope you enjoy exploring the VirtuArte website and do keep coming back to see what is "new."

In fact, there is no reason to miss anything that is happening at VirtuArte. Go to www.virtuarte.com/subscriptions and sign up for the newsletter or e-mail alerts to be notified about new artists, updates on artists, new products, events, special promotions and, of course, blog posts. Become part of the VirtuArte community.
