As you know, VirtuArte.com was launched in early May and the initial reactions were quite positive. I loved receiving your response to the site, particularly how much you enjoyed the Artist profiles and their link to the products. As with every site, now that VirtuArte.com has been up for a few months I realized it needed a few adjustments. I am thrilled to announce those adjustments have just been completed.
The Home page will now give you a "preview" of a couple of our products. The site navigation was redesigned to make it easier to find a collection and/or specific type of product and features have been added to make it easier to purchase the products you love.
And as always, the purchase of a piece of art, folk art, "fine" craft or curio from VirtuArte will have an impact on both you the purchaser and the artist/artisan. As the purchaser you will be introduced to unique, handcrafted products and help to further increase the awareness of these beautiful pieces of art while contributing to the preservation of traditional craftsmanship. The artist/artisan will be able to generate a sustainable income, improve the economic well being of their family and community, and remain "home" in the local village.
New products and artists will be added to VirtuArte.com on a regular basis, so come back frequently. As you are doing your Holiday shopping keep VirtuArte in mind for that gift you will be remembered for long after it has been opened and the wrapping paper thrown away.

I have loved every Virtuarte product I have purchased, especially the gorgeous purses from the Philippines, and everyone I've given a gift from Virtuarte has loved them as well, including beautiful scarves, jewelry, candles, and more! I select each product promoted and sold by VirtuArte and it is always my hope that others will love them as much as I do. It is great to hear the recipients of your VirtuArte gifts have enjoyed them.
