Since 2005 Yuke Setiyoko Simon, the owner and designer of Lenan - Pearl of Silk, has been purchasing Attacus and Criculla cocoons from people who gather them. Attacus Atlas silkworks breed on mahogany trees and produce exotic brown colored wild silk. The Cricullatriphenestrata silkworms breed on cashew trees and produce a gold-colored wild silk. This wild silk is unique to Indonesia. Simon processes these coccoons into wild silk thread. This wild silk thread is then woven into various products, such as scarves, wall hangings, Japanese obi, sarongs, and material for shirts.
