A professional photographer familiar with our collection alerted one of his sustainably minded design clients about us and the rest is history. Claudia Diamante brought her fine Argentine handbag collection to our first meeting and I couldn't keep my hands off the expert stitching, fine details, and wide array of richly colored suede, full-grain, embossed, and patent leather bags.
Diamantina was started by Claudia and her friend Luciana Gagliardi who have a passion for fashion and wanted to design high quality leather handbags and accessories. The leather used in this clutch comes from a sustainable cycle where trusted Argentine producers treat their cows very humanly. While environmentally responsible leather tanning is a challenge, Claudia works closely with these trusted producers to ensure the result yields a durable leather through an environmentally friendly process. Diamantina creates both sustainable employment for the local producers and artisans, and fashion forward handbags and accessories for VirtuArte's clients.
